WHY DONATE?
As an individual, you can make a difference by donating what you can afford, to support students and entrepreneurs to have a brighter future. With your help they can succeed and make their own contribution.
As an organisation you can enhance your brand PR by sponsoring specific campaigns with funds, product or knowledge, and be seen to care for the community.
PARTNERS
S.E.E.D works in partnership with organisations big and small who share our ambitions for equal opportunity in education and entrepreneurship. Through our projects and programmes we connect the right organisations with the ability to deliver real change.
We are always seeking partners who can provide expertise and resources. Whether you have a group of experts itching to make a difference, could help raise awareness of our activities, or have equipment and facilities you’d like to put to good use, we’d love to hear from you.
A recent UK survey by Forresters of 1,100 people, found that:
So, what are the benefits to a business?
Our research found some of the following headline benefits:
Brands that have clearly defined values around social conscience can consolidate their position as reliable, ethical, environmentally friendly etc. The charities you support not only reflects your values but consider how potential job applicants view your business and it could also help differentiate you from the competition as the talent pool shrinks or becomes more discerning.
Your employees will see your business in a completely different light when you support charitable causes. Knowing that they are working for a philanthropic company will make them feel proud of work that they do and has the added potential to increase employee loyalty and retention. Allowing support for individual charities or causes for employees with personal needs has a profound effect on the teams – just imaging that one of your employees has a child with cancer
Sharing the stories of sponsorships and charitable events and donations will always benefit your business from a number of perspectives. Getting the right media cover adds to your marketing outcomes. But most importantly, the stories on your website let visitors, employees and the general public know about your charitable activities in the community and show clients that your organisation is committed to charitable causes.
By donating money, time, resources and general support to charities, you are actively helping people, organisations and communities. We all get busy with our day-to-day business activities but taking time to give something back to society via a charity can give you a new perspective on work and life.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Social conscience is playing an increasingly important role in all business sectors. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is today the regulated means by which your shareholders and employees know and trust that your intention is good and your contribution real. It provides your brand with an opportunity to express itself, to demonstrate its heart.
People love to be involved in a cause or be part of a team that is seen to make a positive impact in the world. This has been proven to measurably increase the appeal and revenues of organisations who exercise an active CSR role.
At S.E.E.D we believe that our young people have enough challenges to face in the world, we aim to provide a space to grow their ideas, support their development and ensure their success.
When corporate values are aligned and actualised with visible actions, they become believable. You become believable. If you have values relating to growth, opportunity, innovation or diversity, we invite you to participate in our efforts through including S.E.E.D in your CSR strategy.
