We begin with children, ensuring access to quality education, and our support continues through to entrepreneurs by providing essential facilities, know how and opportunity
TECHNOLOGY
We live in an increasingly digital world. Without sufficient technology opportunity is limited. Seed initiates campaigns to get technology to those who need it most.
Digital Skills
The provision of advice, training, mentoring, events, and facilities in general subjects such Digital Skills and Digital Literacy but also with specific programmes like e-Combat (e-Safety, e-Ethics, and e-Dignity).
Coding/Computing Schools & Clubs
The provision of advice, training, mentoring, events, facilities in subjects such as Scratch, Python and other Coding Club skills.
Employability
The provision of advice, training, mentoring, events, facilities in subjects such as Speed Interviewing, Mock Interviews, Curriculum Writing, Pre-Apprenticeships, Roles Based Career Mentoring and other Employment skills.
Entrepreneurship
The provision of advice, training, mentoring, events, facilities in subjects such as Ideation, Growth and tools such as the Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas from subject matter experts and other Entrepreneurship skills.
S.E.E.D PILLARS
Introspection
The translation of an ability, hobby, interest or skill into clearly measurable skills (capability) that customers will pay for (employment or entrepreneurship).
Lean Startup
The Lean Startup method teaches how to establish a Startup, using the same principled approach we will teach the beneficiaries self-development (how to steer, when to turn, and when to persevere) and create a generation that develops their digital and entrepreneurial skills with maximum acceleration. Not only will they be better positioned to gain employment, but also engage in the employer’s business itself and thrive. In time they should be able to start their own business and employ others using the same methodology and philosophy.
S.E.E.D is based on six pillars:
Access for All
The provision of advice, training, mentoring, events, facilities, workspace, and networking to the beneficiaries.
Paying It Forward
The beneficiary of a good deed repays it to others, instead of to the original benefactor. Hence, a Mentor ‘pays it forward’ to an Entrepreneur; in turn, Entrepreneurs ‘pay it forward’ in the form of job creation, Mentorship and other assistance to the beneficiaries.
Skills First
The provision of advice, mentoring and learning materials delivered online to everyone, globally, that support its focus areas within STEAM +ME.
Innovation
The translation of an idea or invention into a product or service that creates value to society and/or for which customers will pay.
