FOUNDER'S MESSAGE
“There is a wealth of untapped potential worldwide; people are locked into lower social-economic groups, uneducated, unskilled, stuck in dead-end jobs, or pigeonholed into places and positions they find unfulfilling with no way out. This coupled with the lack of diversity across the UK innovation ecosystem excludes a substantial proportion of prospective entrepreneurs from participating fully in the economy of the 21st century.
Examples include people with disabilities, migrants and those from single-parent families, to name but a few. The problem is nationwide and especially acute in economic blackspots – like the coal towns of the north of England – where each generation has been neglected through the lack of investment, the lack of mobility, and the lack of education, benefits and support services.
The playing field for aspiring entrepreneurs is not level. Access to development resources is limited. Specialist facilities such as incubators, accelerators and co-working spaces (IACs) have targeted people characterised by physical, financial and social mobility. Expert advice and mentorship are not readily available to entrepreneurs from non-traditional backgrounds because, whether implicitly or explicitly, access to IACs and mentorship is contingent on levels of education, access to finance, and social background.
Improving access to education and then entrepreneurial resources, will enhance life opportunities for these groups. We aim to ultimately unlock a host of benefits in wealth generation, employment creation, and tax receipts.

CHARITY OBJECTS
Official Definition of our objects as registered at The Charity Commission:
(1) The advancement of education for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively in the subjects of digital and entrepreneurial techniques and methodologies;
(2) The relief of unemployment for the benefit of the public by such means as the trustees see fit including assistance to find employment, helping people start up their own businesses or income-generating ventures and the provision of land or buildings at below market or subsidised rents to businesses starting up;
(3) The promotion of social inclusion by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
For the purposes of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means people who are excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one or more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re-assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society) or who are within, or have experienced, the public care or penal system.
